Background: We have worked closely with this company over several years at various levels across all DC operations. This role though presented a particular challenge as they required both high level / large scale operational multi-temperature experience as well as green field DC start up experience including automation!

Why Strive? The fact that we already knew the business and culture was a help. We were selected though more on the basis that our service levels are intense i.e. think of search & selection at the highest level performed on a `no placement, no fee` basis. Having already interviewed other candidates from competing agencies with no success the client put us under huge pressure to deliver.

Result? Besides following our normal multi-channel approach to short listing we also placed a lot more emphasis on networking with existing Clients whom we have known for several years. The result was that a diamond candidate was unearthed!, not only did he meet all the technical criteria he was also available at short notice!. The end result was a very happy and relieved client and an ecstatic candidate who continues to impress!
