July 2018 saw me receive a challenging assignment to say the least! I was tasked with building a new structured management team for a leading medium sized freight forwarding haulage firm.
Due to their recent growth and plans to continue this, they had to put their own infrastructure into the business first, so they asked me to provide shortlists for Regional General Managers, covering the north and midlands depot’s, an Operations Manager and a Logistics Customer Service Managers for the southern depot’s to get them on their way.
Following lengthy interviews and shortlisting of perfect candidates to meet their commercial business requirements as well as their own internal culture fit requirements, I am pleased to say that I was successful with all three positions resulting in three top candidates beginning their new careers with a business that is full of vision and ambition, something that was common with the candidates also. This was no simple task and I am super proud that I was a part of this vision and helping them build a great future.
They remain a great client of mine and I will continue to work with them for a long time.
