….I have worked with Strive on three key projects within our business, each very diverse in their nature. The first project required the placement of a senior manager to our National Distribution Centre and it was vital we found a candidate who was a great people motivator, inspirational and someone who could lead the business through a key transitional period. I knew that finding such a candidate would be difficult and so also engaged with other recruitment companies, something in hindsight I didn’t need to bother doing! James spent time with me understanding the culture of the company and my own personality to ensure a match could be found, and the candidates James placed in front of me were significantly stronger compared with what the other agencies presented. As such, after interviewing a select few, there was a clear favourite, who had been found by Strive.
The second and third projects required the placement of Operations Managers, but at either end of the country. Following previous working relationships with James, he knew exactly the traits I would be seeking and quickly found our man for our Scottish operation. In the South West, James provided interview facilities at the Strive offices to ensure this process could be completed confidentially due to the scope of the project not truly being known. Whilst this did not come to fruition, the flexibility and support offered by Strive and James in particular was second to none and Strive will always be my first port of call for Logistic recruitment needs…..
