Background:
A successful and growing 3PL , with whom we’ve had a successful partnership well established for over five years, had just won a major new contract with one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers, resulting in a brand new automated RDC in the West Midlands. They needed a brand new team of Shift Managers, Team Leaders and Shift Engineers to compliment their internal structure. As their preferred recruitment partner, we were engaged to manage the whole project from initial headcount analysis right through to conclusion and monitoring start up.
Result:
Working with our established network of contacts, alongside our multi-modal approach to recruitment, Strive managed the whole process from the start, designing job descriptions, working with the client on best fit, interviewing prospective candidates before delivering final shortlists. Once delivered, Strive worked closely with the client on designing and setting up the interview format (what works at this level and what doesn’t), advising the client to move quickly to avoid losing good candidates, especially as the economy picks up and companies are snapping up good talent quickly. In the end, Strive provided a full team of 4 Shift Managers, 5 Team Leaders and 2 Engineers, further cementing the partnership with this 3PL, one that continues to grow.
