Warehouse Night Shift Manager

4 on / 4 off – 6pm – 6am

Peterborough

£35.2k basic

 

Our client is a Global FMCG Distributor and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Warehouse professional as they recruit for a Warehouse shift manager at their site in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire on a 4on, 4off basis (6pm-6am), permanent nights.

 

Reporting into the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

Day to day management of this busy multi-temp RDC, motivating a team of c30FTEs to achieve site objectives and KPIs.Ensure that targets and standards are achieved and procedures followed.Review KPIs and drive Continuous ImprovementEnsure proper and correct use of the Warehouse Management Systems and regularly run reports and checks to monitor site performance.Monitor and control the use of all depot based MHE equipmentEnsure Resource Planning is sufficient to ensure the volume plan is achieved

 

The ideal Candidate:

Excellent Leadership skills with an ability to motivate and engageWarehouse Management experience with a proven ability to take the lead and make decisions on shiftIdeally, you will have had some experience of working in a multi-temp environment & must be comfortable working in cold temperatures.H&S aware
