Our client is a Global FMCG Warehouse and Transport PLC and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced HR professional to provide depot based HR Support, as they look to recruit a HR Generalist to be based at their site in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
As HR Generalist, you will look to deliver a proactive and flexible HR service by providing relevant and appropriate basic HR support to all employees and Managers, whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures. Moreover, you will ensure the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
Key to the role of HR Generalist:
To strive for efficiency, whilst continuously improving delivery of HR services, in conjunction with HR Business Partner/Regional HR Business Partner to Line Managers and all employees, including but not exhaustive:
Undertake first line advice and support our HR Business Partners with complex casesSupport the onboarding and induction process for new employeesActively interacting with employees to monitor and support their experience.Monitor probationary/year end reviews across the depot to ensure they are completed in time and to the accepted standardMonitor and support with employee annual self-evaluations across the company to ensure they are completed by the deadline and to the accepted standardSupport the Managers with absence recording and monitoring processAssist the Managers with Training and Development of employeesSupporting Line Managers in all matters relating to HR including terms and conditions, absence, and flexible working requests.Support with HR administration, including - New starter documentation,Undertake training and development as required to meet personal and business needs.
The ideal HR Generalist Candidate:
Previous experience in a similar HR Generalist / HR Advisor roleGood understanding of the latest UK Employment LawSuperb written and verbal communication skills
