Our client is a leading Logistics business in the UK and we are delighted to assist them in their search for a HR Business Partner at their site in Greater Manchester. This brand new role reports into the Head of HR.
Duties and Responsibilities as HR Business Partner:
Collaborate with the Senior Team (Site Depot Managers, Regional Directors) to drive business performance from an HR perspectiveDrive the talent management process across with a focus on coaching, talent development, succession, individual development plans, and talent reviews of site leadersPartner with operational leaders and the Talent HR centre of excellence (CoE) to ensure talent acquisition strategies are developed, implemented, and are effective at maintaining full staffing. Oversee investigations and advise senior management on appropriate resolution of employee relations/discipline issues in conjunction with the Area HR Director and Legal when appropriate. Supervise and lead a team of HR professionals with a focus on continually elevating talent capabilities and teamworkDrive improvements and initiatives that move toward the company’s HR vision. Develop and implement processes that comply with government legislation.Gather and analyze data related to absenteeism and turnover to advocate process improvementsEstablish and drive implementation of processes that strengthen culture based on company values.
The Candidate for HR Business Partner:
5+ years of experience in a similar human resources roleExtensive HR Legal and Compliance knowledgeIdeally a PHR Certification and Continuous Improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Working knowledge of Workday and/or DayforcePrevious experience in Labour Relations
