Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor, who are currently recruiting for a brand new role at their site in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Reporting into the General Manager and forming part of the Senior Management team, as the Continuous Improvement Manager you will be responsible for training, mentoring, establishing, implementing and maintaining an environment of Lean within the RDC. Additionally, you will lead the overall direction, implementation, and continuous improvement of Lean systems infrastructure in all phases of the operation.

As Continuous Improvement Manager you will have the following responsibilities:
Define requirements for operations and ensure the implementation of Continuous Improvement strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed business requirements and customer expectationsAdvise and coach other team members and ensure a developmentally productive environment for allAdminister and communicate company policies, goals, strategies and visionFacilitate quality systems, continuous process improvements, and safety initiatives in accordance with Lean thinking throughout the organizationDevelop, model and coach Lean applicationsReview Lean performance expectations with leadership teams across the organizationMentor, coach and train various levels throughout the company
From a similar operational background, you will be able to demonstrate:
A successful track record in leading similar operations within a FMCG environment and excellent People Management skills.Minimum 3 years of operations experience and/or Lean experienceA track record in management of all core Operational and Logistics KPIsYou will be able to demonstrate exceptional operational efficiencies and improvements through CI / project management
