Our client is a major FMCG distributor in the UK. We are delighted to assist them in their search for a Business Development Manager covering the North East of England.
Reporting into the Sales Director, this role is both field and home based with an initial remit of developing new business (new business development) through establishing key contacts and target customers in a fluid and competitive market.
Key Accountabilities as Business Development Manager:
Develop relationships with target customers and businesses with a view to developing new business and turning them into key accountsBuild stronger relationships with lapsed or lost customers.Responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts (key account retention).
Ideal Person for Business Development Manager:
Able to demonstrate a proven track record in developing new business.Proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets in your career to date.Excellent communication skills at all levels.
